At YourTribe, we believe every child should have access to exceptional after-school experiences. We also know that as a busy parent—especially if English is not your first language—navigating all the admin can be tough.
We are here to help you get all the support you are entitled to.
What is the NCS?
It is a government grant that pays part of your childcare costs directly to us, so you pay less. It is available to every child at Your Tribe.
How much will I save?
The Guaranteed Discount: Every family, regardless of income, gets at least €2.14 off every hour your child is with us.

The Application: You apply at ncs.gov.ie. You will need a MyGovID (linked to your Public Services Card)

Our hassle-free 4-step process
We’ve helped lots of families through this. Here is how we do it together:

The CHICK Code: Once approved, you’ll get a code called a CHICK.

The Hand-off: Simply email your CHICK code and your child’s Date of Birth to us. We take it from here. We will register the hours and set up the discount on your account.

The Final Click: The government will send you an email asking you to "Confirm" our registration. This is the only part we can’t do for you! Once you click confirm, your next bill will be lower.

Common Questions from our YourTribe Families
I don't have a Public Services Card. Can I still apply?
Yes! You can apply by post. Call the NCS Parent Support Centre at 01 906 8530 to request a paper form. If you need help filling it out, just ask us.
What happens during Mid-term or Summer holidays?
We’ve got you covered. When your child stays for extra hours during holidays, we update the system for you. You just need to confirm the change on your phone.
Does it matter if I'm not working?
Not at all. The Universal subsidy (€2.14/hr) is for everyone. If you are working or studying, you may qualify for "Enhanced Hours" (up to 45 hours a week).
Is my private information safe?
Absolutely. We only see the discount amount and the code. We never see your bank details or your total income.
